There are currently 19 of us on mission deep in the delta region of Mississippi. We have been helping to build a couple of Missionary Baptist Churches. Our focus has been one particular church in Holmes county… which we have been told is the poorest county in the United States. The county seat has a mere 1600 population.
The team arrived in 9 campers after traveling 1000 miles down here in 1 1/2 days. It feels like it is already July here in mid-April. Three of our team are serving in a medical free clinic… the rest are swinging hammers, carrying shingles, building walls. Keep us in prayer… safety in travel and in work… team unity…and that we are a blessing to those we are serving. Hold the fort… well be back early next week…
