Today was the first day of the Ministry Training Institute in Toledo. These classes are for pastors and church leaders to further their biblical education. We had great attendance and many new participants who haven’t been to an MTI before. The topic of the teaching is how to recognize and train up leaders in the local church. Many of them said they were excited about the material and the opportunity to learn more about leadership and discipleship in the church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few other team members went out into the city to do an outreach near one of the main university campuses. Classes are just starting up here, and our goal was to spread the word about Street Level’s weekly Bible study and an upcoming game night. Later in the day several current Street Level members joined up with us and we split into groups and put up posters around Toledo as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Street Level had their weekly meeting tonight. The remainder of our time in Toledo will be spent finishing the second half of the MTI and hosting a game night for university students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
