The Last Day in Bantayan

We finished out the last day of the MTI. Everyone passed the test and was glad to have had the opportunity to learn together.

Street Level went to Madridejos and flyered for a Bible discussion at both of the universities on the island. We held the Bible discussion in the middle of town in the plaza and five girls joined us for our study.

Later that night Street Level was invited to do youth group at City Light church. We played games with the students and learned about how following God is difficult and the best choice we can make when we are young. We had a great time with the youth.

The next morning we said goodbye to Bantayan Island and took the ferry back to Cebu Island and drove to Toledo.

Thank you for all of your prayers. We are looking forward to more outreaches with Street Level in Toledo.

Bantayan!

Hello gang, yesterday we spent the day traveling to Bantayan.

Today, we started off our second MTI and some of us traveled to Madridejos to do some flyering for our Bible study which we will be holding tomorrow afternoon. From there we traveled to Bantayan city to add new programs and teachings to the TV station and to hang up posters around the city advertising the TV stations.

Tomorrow we will continue the MTI, host a mini Bible study, and teaching at a youth group.

Bye Bohol

Hey guys we have finished our work in Bohol. We split the team up for church; half went to see pastor Medel’s church. This is the church that the Philippines Street Level team worked on for their mission trip in January. The other half of the team headed back to Cebu for Sunday church where Pastor Jason preached. They had 7 people attend! We all arrived back to Cebu safely, and tomorrow we will be heading to Bantayan. We are praying for you all back home thank you for holding down the fort.

Bohol Youth Summit

We had the Bohol youth leaders summit today and a little over 20 local students were able to attend. It was a good time filled with worship, video teachings, and breaking into small group discussions. We focused on subject matter dealing with killing sin, making disciples, being fully awakened Christians, and serving Christ with all of their life. We dealt with a bit of difficulty in overcoming a language barrier and shyness with the students as well as some brief power outages, but the message got through and the power came back almost as quickly as it went.

Thank you for your prayers! It has been an amazing time and jet lag hasn’t been an issue for us.
