From the Street Level Campus Mission in Mississippi!

Today we continued our work with the team from Mount Olive Baptist Church making bed frames and trying to put a dent in the generous amount of delicious southern food provided for us. In the afternoon some of our team assisted the church with Wednesday evening meal prep and delivery for people who can’t leave their homes. 

For dinner we visited Wayne, the director of the Baptist Student Union at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Wayne made us dinner and homemade ice cream, and we had good conversation with him about his work the past forty years in campus ministry. 

Thanks to everyone for covering for us while on our recent mission to New Orleans, and especially all of your prayers! We were absolutely blessed and thankful that God would count us worthy to participate in his work!

Greetings from NOLA! The new church sign is up and looks great from the highway. We were able, with a mighty team push, to slide the deck foundation into place. Entering into our last work day we were able to complete work on the deck, patching up the parking lot, website launch and work in one of bathrooms.
