Domestic Mission Update

Team #1 started putting insulation and metal on the roof last week. After some tinkering they came up with a good system to use… As you would expect, working on a tin roof in Mississippi in mid-summer is HOT!!!

After a full week on the job site… Half of the first team headed back to Wisconsin, and the second team hit the road towards Mississippi. The two groups were able to meet up on the road to “pass the baton” as the work continues into this coming week.

Domestic Mission Update

Travels have been all safe and smooth sailing for us as we’ve successfully arrived in Mississippi. Sadly, the same can’t be said for the many of armadillo that were unable to cross the highways.

We left Wisconsin early in the AM, caravanned through many lovely states, and also Iowa.

Mississippi is nice and hot and muggy and we’re all looking forward to the people we’ll meet and work that lies ahead of us. Thanks for all your prayers!

Philippines Mission Update

August 6, 2023 On Friday night we had the Street Level members-only meeting with Gladness and Rona. We enjoyed chicken dinner together and after we discussed how God honors commitment.

The following day we welcomed new students at the Street Level Summit. Many of them were just hearing about Street Level Ministries and getting to know us but a few had been coming around on and off for a while.

Please pray for the students who attended the Summit:

  • They would be challenged by the discussions that were had.
  • They would respond with commitment to God in their lives and to Street Level.

Philippines Mission Update

July 29, 2023 This morning about 30 youth from 7 different churches from Bantayan and surrounding islands came together to participate in our youth leader summit. It was a good day of teaching and discussing what it means to be awakened to God, and what life with Him can look like. We hope these youth go back to their churches challenged and encouraged to step out in their faith to see what God has for them.

July 28, 2023 Today we wrapped up the Bantayan MTI with the students. Everybody passed their tests, and we had some good conversations with familiar and new faces.
