Erik, Tiffany, and Hannah have arrived safely in the Philippines! They will be serving as tech missionaries for the next couple of months. They will be promoting the multiple Ministry Training Institute classes, upgrading our four Shofar TV cable stations, and doing maintenance as well as expanding our Street Level Radio station. Please keep them and their work as they travel across and between islands in your prayers.
Thank you all for the prayers as we were able to complete the third Ministry Training at Bantayan Island. It was a big crowd and we were able to keep up with old contacts and make a couple more.
Pete and Abby joined Brittany to head over to Toledo for Street Level on Friday evening. We had a great turnout and saw some familiar faces from the Summit. Please continue to pray for this group and that they would continue to grow in their discipleship. We were also able to hang up several posters and distribute some WOTS magazines.
We have a few more days left in Cebu City before we begin traveling home. Please pray that we finish well!
Tim and Ryan wrapped up the Toledo Ministry Training classes. It was fun getting to know the pastors and learn more about their ministries. A few new connections were made and some showed interest in having more training.
Abby, Brittany and Pete were able to do a live radio broadcast just outside the UV campus in Toledo. We met many students and gave away T-shirts, WOTS magazines and flyers for Street Level. Some of the students seemed to have some real interest in Street Level so please be praying that we start to see some of them show up to the weekly meetings.
The theme was “Awaken,” the purpose being to shake us out of a sleepy faith, and make clear that you’re either born again or you’re not. We’re praying that the group discussions left those who came challenged and thinking… It was great to be together for the day.
Saturday Ryan and Tim were able to teach the final sessions for the Ministry Training Institute in Cebu. It was a great group and we were glad to have an MTI in Cebu City. Please pray for the leaders involved and that there would continue to be good relationships and lasting fruit here.
