ABOUT CORNÉ: After I came (to faith), I always said that I want to do as much as possible in
the kingdom of God. I started in my vacations with camps and evangelism outreaches. And
with a friend I played Christian stand up comedian for young people at schools, bars etc.
After a few years of working at the ministry of agriculture I had the opportunity to start at a
missionary organization: European Christian Mission. They planted churches in Europe and I
guided the work in the Netherlands. 8 years later I wanted to do more evangelism work and I
worked for a few years with Agape (internationally known as Campus Crusade). At a certain
moment I wanted to be back at the base and I became a street evangelist, also training people
in churches and teaching at a bible school. 8 years ago the head manager of the Shelter in
Amsterdam asked me to join the team. A great place, lots of possibilities.
Next to that I visit several churches in the Netherlands to preach or encourage people to do
join the mission.
In all of this I feel really supported by my wife Sandra. Married for almost 30 years we
feel really blessed with each other and our two children and almost two grandchildren.
