Halloween Party at UW Stout!
Street Level hosted a Halloween party at the Street Level House in Menomonie (UW Stout) on Friday night!
“DANGEROUS EXPECTATIONS” Summit
Everyone has assumptions about God. Things we think are true about Him, or actions we expect He will take. If we hold tight to these expectations, we will miss out on knowing the real, true God. Instead, we need to know what the Bible says is true of God and let that shape our beliefs.
During this ONE DAY SUMMIT, we will discuss four major expectations people have and what the Bible says about them:
- I want God to save everyone automatically
- I want to find happiness in the world
- I want God to fix my life without touching anything
- I want God to love me by affirming my decisions
The goal is to discover more of who God is so that we can pursue Him rightly and not waste our lives caught up in worshipping a false, non-existent version of Him.
WHAT IS A SUMMIT?
A Street Level Ministries summit is a day event where we take a step away from the normal routine and focus on a topic we believe is important in our walk with God. There will be worship, Bible teaching, small group discussion, as well as time to hang out and get to know each other better.
There will be a mix of people from the Cebu, Toledo, and U.S. SLM groups.

TO REGISTER: Sign up at a regular SLM meeting by Thursday, November 20. This event is FREE and open to anyone 18-25 years old.

Join us for an evening of friendly competition as we play several of our favorite board games! There will be plenty of pizza and snacks, so be sure to invite your barkada. Open to anyone 18-25 years old.
Special Informational Meeting this week
This week at Street Level we are doing something a little different. Within our usual Bible study, we will be sharing more about who we are as an organization and why we do what we do. It’s a great opportunity to find out what we are all about, so be sure to be there and invite your friends. We will have free dinner before the study as usual too.

Believers Campus Church – First Meeting of the Semester!
Last night, Street Level hosted its first Believers Campus Church meeting of the fall semester at UW-Stout and UW-River Falls!!
The church service is for college students and any individuals aged 18-25. We meet for a free dinner beforehand and have worship & a bible teaching at 7pm every Weds night!

Street Level’s Fall Summit!!
Street Level will be hosting a Fall Summit in River Falls, WI on Sept 27th. The cost is $10 per person and is open to individuals who are between the ages of 18 and 25. Anyone who is interested in registering can do so at a Street Level meeting between now and the event!

Street Level’s Fall Thrift Sale!!
Street Level is hosting its annual Thrift Sale at the Street Level House (1009 6th St E) on Saturday, Sep 6th from 9am – 3pm. Stop on by and find some clothes, plants, household items, electronics, and more! All proceeds go to support Street Level’s missions endeavors!
NOTE: This year, we also have The Blind Munchies Coffee Trailer serving coffee from 9am – 1pm!
Art & Design Workshop
We had some friends visiting from the U.S. who work in art and design, so they hosted a day workshop to discuss building campaigns and how to find art in every day life. It was hands on, so participants were able to express some creativity on the spot too!
