UPCOMING: Street Level Fall Summit, October 9-10

How do we hear God’s voice in the midst of so many other competing voices? Many people say they want to know God’s plan for their life, but if they are honest, they have no idea how to figure out that plan. This one day summit will feature Biblical teaching centered on how to hear God’s voice and know His will for your life, so you can find and fulfill the purpose He created you for.

CEBU – This week so far…

We have been joined by some members of SLM U.S. for a short time, and we are making good use of the time! This week so far we have hosted a study day / henna hangout, a printmaking art night, and have done some outreaches on campuses too. Looking ahead, this Friday we are joining Believers Church Cebu for a game night (SEPT 25 at 6PM) that is open to anyone.

Cebu Trivia Night

Teams gathered on Friday night in a battle of knowledge and wits to see who would come out victorious! Categories included: flags and logos, general knowledge, food, movies, music, and memes! A good time was had by all and the competition was fierce! We will definitely do this again, so stay tuned for our next Trivia Night date

Street Level Camping

Street Level Menomonie & River Falls got together recently to go camping! We had great weather (besides some rain early on) and were able to sit around the bonfire, worship, and share a few testimonies on Friday evening. On Saturday, we tubed down the Red Cedar River and had lunch at a park. It was great to enjoy a relaxing weekend before we turn our attention towards the Fall semester.

River Falls Days Parade

Street Level members represented Street Level Coffee in the 2026 River Falls Days Parade. Information about the ministry was distributed to thousands of parade-goers along with plenty of candy!

Cebu Printmaking Art Day

We had some friends from Believers City Church in Wisconsin visiting who are passionate (and skilled) in the arts, so we asked if they could pass along some of that artistic knowledge to us! We hosted a free day of printmaking on Saturday and it was a great time of creativity and meeting new friends.

SLM Philippines starting a new chapter

This July we officially kicked off Street Level Ministries TAGBILARAN! After over a year of doing occasional pop-up style Bible studies, we are now meeting monthly for regular dinner & Bible discussions! We are excited to see what God does on Bohol in and through Street Level. Stay tuned for updates on special events. And please be in prayer for this new endeavor!

Cebu goes to Tagbilaran…

A few Cebu SLM members traveled to Bohol to host a pop-up Bible study in Tagbilaran. We spent the day inviting students to the study that evening, and we got to explore the city a little too. We have hosted several of these pop-up style studies over the past year or so, but this was our last one because… we are starting regular Street Level meetings in Tagbilaran starting July 2! Stay tuned for details.

CEBU – Creative Writing Workshop

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, aspiring creative writers from across Cebu City (and the world) gathered together for a writing workshop. We were grateful to have our magazine, Word on the Street, host this event, with the magazine editor teaching 3 main sessions throughout the afternoon. There was games, time for writing, peer reviews, and encouragement to keep trying things. Writing is not an easy process, but communication is important, and can be fun too! Thanks to everyone who showed up and spent the day with us.

A fun surprise during the workshop… Issue 99 of our magazine was delivered fresh from the printer!
