Tired and Wired

Street level left Menomonie this morning on its way to Mississippi for spring break! We will be working with bunk bed ministry in Baldwyn Mississippi next week helping to build beds for kids who need them.

Today we made it to Chicago and to the train station successfully. We got some dinner and enjoyed watching various stages of wedding developments (a bride and groom taking wedding photos and a marriage proposal (*no one from our group)) as we waited…

The train is leaving soon and we’ll travel overnight to Memphis, arroving bright and early at 4:00 a.m. Pray for us that we get some decent sleep on the train, and make it to Memphis in one piece!

Members Only Getaway!!

The Street Level members from UW Stout took a road trip up north over the weekend for some evangelism training and an overnight stay at Luther Park.

It was a great time fellowship, learning, goofing around, eating, singing, dancing, and probably some other stuff too.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of Street Level you can talk to pastor Ben about it.

Winter Kickball Happened…

The Street Level campuses joined forces for some “winter” kickball on Saturday.

Members from UW Stout, UW River Falls, and UW Superior were on campus in Menomonie grilling out and playing kickball on Saturday. There were minimal injuries (praise the LORD!) and a clear winning team at the end of the day.

Thanks to all who came out!

Checkout our new layout for Believers Campus Church!!

Believers Campus Church had its last meeting of the semester on Wednesday night, Dec 13th.

We mixed things up a bit… Instead of having a stage and an audience, we are going with more of a casual “living room” format from now on. We had a good turnout for worshipping God one last time together before winter break!

We will resume normal meetings at 7pm at The Street Level House on Jan 24th, 2024.

*Note: Until then, we will be meeting on Wednesday nights at The Street Level House for a Local Community Bible Study.

Street Level’s Pre-Thanksgiving Potluck!

Street Level held a good-old fashioned “pot luck” at the Street Level House on Wednesday night.

For anyone who hadn’t left Menomonie to travel for the Thanksgiving Holiday, there was:

Ham

Potatoes

(something that Nathan made… which was pretty good)

And a whole lot more!

We ate, then played games. Everyone left being fully prepared (“warmed up”) to have successful Thanksgiving Dinners the following day..

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
