Plans are being made for our first-ever Street Level Philippines missions trip! Mission trips have been at the heart of the Street Level groups in the U.S. for a long time, and we are excited to start that here as well. The trip is for Street Level leaders and will be happening in early January 2024. We will be joining forces with some Street Level leaders from the U.S. and will be spending a couple of days on Bohol Island, working on a construction project at a church, and hosting a youth summit. Please be in prayer for this trip and all those who will be attending.
Street Level held its 20-somthing-th Annual Halloween Party at the Street Level House on Friday night!
We had UW-Stout and UW-River Falls students in attendance.
The costumes were impressive. The music was loud. The dancing was widespread. It was awesome!
Thanks to all who showed up and helped-out!
Street Level had a coffee giveaway on Thursday afternoon on campus in front of the Memorial Student Center at UW-Stout.
We took The Blind Munchies Coffeehouse trailer and gave away free cold press and hot coffee! We were also joined by Street Level Radio with a live broadcast for the afternoon, and Word on the Street Magazine with an interactive table.
This was the 2nd outreach day of the fall semester. We will be back again in the Spring!
Street Level – Twin Ports embraced the spooky season with an early Friday the 13th Halloween Party! Pumpkin painting, classic monster movies, and friendly competition made the night a blast. Whether students were dressed like a cowboy, a fairy, or a stressed-out freshman, pizza and games brought everyone together in the cozy Street Level Garage.
Street Level continues to meet on Monday nights at the The Blind Munchies Coffeehouse for a free dinner and discussion. This semester we are covering current events and current issues, and how Christians should respond to what is happening in the world around us.
Stop on by and check it out!
This week we set up our booth near Southwestern University one day and UV-Main the next to meet students and tell them about who we are. It was a great couple of days! We did trivia with different categories (Philippine History, Jollibee, or Christmas) for a chance to win coffee/milk tea or soft drinks. It was a good way for all of us to spend time together, working alongside each other for the kingdom of God.
Street Level had its Fall Summit this past weekend! Members and participants from UW Stout, UW River Falls, and UW Superior gathered in Menomonie to hang out and discuss the topic: “Seeing the World Through the Eyes of God.”
On Friday night, we had two sessions at the Street Level House in Menomonie. On Saturday, we had 5 sessions on campus at UW Stout in the Memorial Student Center.
