Toledo Hang Out

We spent some extra time in Toledo this week, so we used the time to give away some free coffee and lemonade in front of Consolatrix College during the day. Later that evening we opened up the Toledo SLM Space to hang out, play games, eat pizza, and laugh at some charades. We will be doing a similar hang out on August 15 in Cebu City!

Summer Fun!

Last week, we hung out at The Bottoms on Monday evening and accomplished Whiffleball Glory on Sunday afternoon! The summer weather in Wisconsin has been great and the friends are fantastic!!

*Note: If you’re sticking around Menomonie for the summer – we’re still meeting on Monday nights!! (630pm at The Blind Munchies)

SLM Cebu City

As the semester came to an end, we had a chill evening of board games to celebrate another school year complete. We played all the favorites like Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, and Ticket to Ride. We even held a mini paper football tournament. Stay tuned for our upcoming game night to kickoff the next semester!

A few weeks ago, after we finished up going through Colossians, we watched the film “The Insanity of God” which is an intense and inspiring look at believers in persecution.

We are currently about halfway through a series called “Follow Me” where each week we are taking an in depth look at what it really means to follow Jesus – with biblical teaching and small group discussions. If you’d like to join us, these weekly meetings are open to anyone 18-25 years old. We meet WEDNESDAYS at 6PM (and we have dinner together too).

We also produce Word on the Street magazine – a Christian magazine designed for university students. Recently, one of our members got it approved to be added to the UC Main library!
