Upcoming Summit in Toledo, Cebu – August 4-5
Street Level Ministries is hosting a Summit on Friday and Saturday, August 4-5 for current college students and young adults ages 18-25.
The gathering on Friday evening, August 4, is only for official members of Street Level Ministries. On Saturday, August 5, all are welcome to attend.
The venue of the Summit is Gall’s Pension House in Toledo City, Cebu. Sessions will begin in the morning and last through the mid-afternoon. Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Please bring your own Bible, notebook, and pen.
SPACE IS LIMITED and you must register in advance to attend. The registration deadline is July 26, 2023. Please DO NOT sign up unless you’re committed to attending – you are costing us pesos as well as taking a spot that could have gone to someone else. If you register but don’t show up, you won’t be able to register for a Summit in the future!

Street Level Radio Live Broadcasts in Cebu!
Over the past few weeks, we held remote radio broadcasts across from the University of the Visayas in Toledo City and at BBC’s PrintStop in Cebu City. We gave away the latest issue of Word on the Street Magazine and brand new Street Level Radio t-shirts!
Street Level Cebu Summit… Friday Member’s Meeting
The members of both branches of Street Level Cebu Island gathered together on Friday night for dinner and discussion… we even had friends from Street Level USA join us! Pete and Abby shared how God has used Street Level in their lives and where God is leading them next…

Welcome to New Orleans!
After a night on the train, the team rose to watch the sunrise, read, and play games until arriving in NOLA. Once in the city we made our way walking and by bus to NOLA Baptist Church. Kyle welcomed us in and told us the story of their church. He also gave us a word of encouragement for the messy job of demo work ahead.
On the road…
We are headed to Chicago! The winter weather gave us a head start to leave a day earlier. But as God would have it we get to stay with some old friends at Jesus People overnight to catch our train tomorrow. Meanwhile in NOLA Tim and Sharon getting things ready for our arrival. Keep everyone in prayer as we roll with the changes!
Weekly Meetings in Toledo
The semester is keeping everyone busy, but that doesn’t prevent us from meeting together for dinner, discussion, and some friendly chess competition! Join us on Friday nights at 6pm in Toledo City at Yummio.
Youth Ignite
On August 29, a group of Street Level students from both Toledo and Cebu attended the Youth Ignite Conference at Praise Cathedral Global Outreach, Cebu City. It was a day of worship, guest speakers, breakout sessions, and fellowship. We’re thankful to JWalkers for inviting us to have a booth at the event. We met a lot of students and gave away copies of Word on the Street Magazine!
SLM Summit
Street Level held a one-day Summit in Balamban. It was a special occasion, as all three of the Street Level directors from the United States were on hand to teach and lead the discussions!! On Friday night, there was also a special leadership training for members and interested members from Toledo and Cebu City… God is good. We’re already planning for the next one!
